More nursery progress

We put the crib together today!
I have heard horror stories of how hard these things can be to put together. We did got it together in about a hour!

Happy Thanksgiving!

It's a day to be thankful! Here are some of my thanksgivings...
1. Family and family- the ones that are here, far away and the ones that aren't with us anymore
2. My husband, our sweet, snugly dog Rascal and baby that will be here soon
3. Our house and the chance to host our first thanksgiving here this year
4. Thanksgiving food- I love it all! I'm a big fan of anything pumpkin and sweet potato so I was really looking forward to my lunch today and it did not disappoint

Just the start

I'm 24 weeks pregnant now and have started the process of getting the nursery together for this baby boy that's coming. Today the changing table got put together, which I'm very proud of and hope the matching crib gets put together as well!

Reunion

This past weekend we had our 10 year High School Reunion. It was such a fun weekend and was great to see everyone. The first night was a tailgate at the school and everyone brought their kiddos. Saturday was the adult only party and was big cocktail party. It was decorated so pretty too!

30th Birthday Bash

This weekend we had a celebration! We had a big party at our house for David's 30th Birthday (and our new house). We had lots of friends, family and co workers come out to help us celebrate and we had a blast. David also had two of his college friends come and stay with us this weekend. Of course I meant to take a lot more pictures of the fun weekend, but here are a few....

We are having a...

I am now 21 weeks pregnant. We found out last week what we were having and I have been dying to know so I can start planning nursery and buying for the baby! This past weekend David's mom took us to Branson and we went outlet mall shopping for Baby Boy and got tons of cute things! We are thinking the his name will be Carter by the way.
I have been feeling pretty good throughout the pregnancy. I haven't had a whole lot of nausea or any morning sickness. I get really tired and feel drained of all energy a lot of days. My sense of smell is really strong too which makes going to the grocery store sometimes really hard. But, I have been lucky and those are not too bad of things compared to I know some other people's experiences. We continue to pray each day for a healthy baby!
