Happy Memorial Day!

I hope everyone had a fun filled weekend at the lake, beach, grilling out ect. We have had a lot of home projects, cleaning and packing on our plate so that is how we have been spending our weekends. We did get to do something fun this last weekend..furniture shop! I love going and looking at furniture stores, ok I love going to any stores.
This weekend has been hot hot hot and with pools opening at people going off to the lakes of Arkansas I feel like we have kicked off summer! I feel like it is going to be a memorable one!

New Horizons

Why and where are we scraping wallpaper???
Well...we are moving into a new house!






Ok so to make a long story short we are switching houses with David's mom.





We are still a little ways out from being over there full time but for now we are starting to do some small projects, like this guest bathroom we are working on. If anyone has tips for removing old wallpaper we need it!!

Happy Easter!

Easter is my favorite holiday! I love the meaning of the holiday of course but I love the feeling it brings of happiness. I love the colors and flowers for Easter and seeing all the kids in their cute outfits for church...and Easter baskets with yummy candy doesn't hurt too bad either.
This year didn't disappoint. The weather was beautiful today. We had our families over for a great lunch. The funniest part of the weekend is David was the Easter bunny for the church's Easter egg hunt. Here is a picture, so funny!

Ahoy Matey!

Last Sunday night we had our Pacesetter Dinner for my job. We had it on the Arkansas Queen River boat cruise. It was beautiful weather to the dinner on the boat. It was a great night with lots of fun, food and dancing as the evening went on. Here are some pictures....
