Week off

What a week it has been! I have been off work this week and have filled my time with alot of fun things! The first part of the week we went to the lake and the baby stayed with my parents for the first time. When we got back I finally bought outdoor furniture for our front porch....









We are so happy to have a place to sit and enjoy the cooler weather!
I also got to catch up with lots of friends. Two of my high school friends Jeanelle and Emily and I got our babies together to play...

7 months

Our sweet boy is seven months old now!
He weighs 16 lbs, 9 months or 6-9 month clothes
Eats 5 bottles a day 7 oz and has started on solids now, so far I think sweet potatoes and apples have been his favorite
Rolls over and pulls himself to sitting up a lot better now
Laughs, smiles and babbles
Loves bath time
Sleeps from about 7:30-7

5 years

This past weekend we celebrated our five year wedding anniversary. Wow how time has flown by! The past five years have been full of lots of life changes, ups and downs, moves, loss of family members, celebrations, dogs, new friends, trips and the growing of our family! We have been there for each other and grown through it all. We celebrated this weekend by going to the same place we went on our first date, which was a blind date and it was so fun to think back on us that night and what we talked about, ect. Here is to many more years! Pictures of us five years ago....

Bedding redo

I decided to redo my bedding, I have had it five years and was ready for a change. I have been trying to stick to a budget and have been looking on Internet for awhile for something I liked. I was at Ross last week and found a comforter set I liked for $25! Wow! I got it home and decided I still needed more to for the look I wanted. I got new euro shams on sale at Dillards and a coverlet from overstock.com. Everything was under $100 total!

6 months old!

What a joy this precious 6 month old is to our lives! He is always making us smile and laugh.

Other things going on in the last month....
He weighs around 15.5

-Drinks 5 6-7oz bottles a day, and we started eating vegetables last week
-Sleeps from 7:45-6:30 or 7
-Started rolling over
-started to recognize bottle and gets very upset when he sees it and we haven't given it to him yet :)
-He must be teething because drools even more and has started chewing on Sophie more.
-went on his first road trip and attended first birthday party for his friend Sydney!
