36 weeks

Only 4 more weeks until due date! It is a waiting game now to see when Carter is going to decide to make his debut. We think we are ready. I had a long to do list which included finishing touches on nursery, buying glider, cleaning car, cleaning all baby outfits, stocking up on diapers and so on....basically trying to get everything set in my
mind before the big day. I'm happy to say almost everything on our list is done! This week we are going to take a birthing and newborn care class so hopefully that will leave us feeling a little more prepared as well!

Baby Room

We are finally semi finished with Carter's room. I wanted you to see the before (which I took while we were moving in which is why there is a lot of random stuff in room). We cleaned it out, got new carpet, took down duck border, painted, and brought in the baby stuff! I wanted it to be fun and have lots of bright colors and I love all the owl things out right now...so this is what evolved from this.

The shelves still need a few things on them, decals on wall were all ordered from Amazon, three owl paintings were done by my friends Lauren(she needs to see them on Etsy right?) and "C" hanging on the wall was from my shower (all the guests signed it with sweet notes)

Baby Shower

Yesterday was such a good day! We had my baby shower! It was kinda surreal that it was already time to have a baby shower for me! It was so fun to see everyone and I had such a special time getting to see so many friends from all different times of my life!
The hostesses did a great job and Carter and I feel so loved..here are a few pictures..

2011

Here is our year in review...2011 was a big year for us as we moved houses, did lots of home improvements, found out we were having a baby and dealt with some family losses, celebrated David's 30th birthday, my school winning a national championship, had my 10 year hs reunion...
2012 is now here and we have alot to also look forward too!!
